Singapore school holiday starts next week..where can I go and what can I do?

(Warning: This is strictly for those who yet to have a kid/kids at home)

School holiday in Singapore will commence next week. If you are planning to take your long annual leave and stay in Singapore at the same time, good luck to you; You will see the following: MRT, public buses and traffic will be crowded all the time; shopping malls will be packed with youngsters and kids; your favorites hawkers stalls is always long queue during weekdays..
I would suggest take a break away from Singapore or stay at home to minimise the visits to places with many people

A few suggestions to do during this season:
1. Spend your time with your family. You are hardly at home when you are at work. Use this time properly and let them know you care about them.

2. Go to learn how to cook if you don't. Then cook a good meal for your love ones. Appreciate the time you spend with them.

3. Stay at home, watch TVB blockbusters drama of the year, "Born Rich (Traditional Chinese: 富貴門) and Beyond the Realm of Conscience 宮心計". Don't forget your cups of Blue Mountain.

4. Read your "long time never have a chance to read" books. Or re-read self improvement books that you already read during your university days. By revisiting them, you will find a different perspective now!

5. Hit the gyms and shake off the extra meat off your body.

6. Take a short course. Governments support that ;-)

7. Do the spring cleaning!
