Our honeymoon (Day 6)

~6 Sept, Rainy and cloudy~

Before we bid farewell to Italy, we travelled to Lugano, Italian Lake District. This is one of the most romantic part in Italy. We enjoy a beautiful day ride passing lake shore town, breathtaking landscape and photo-stop by the lake. However, the weather of the morning we went was not so good, the photo taken thus became less attractive.

Next we had an islands tour visit via the speedboat. Among the islands we saw are fishermen island and Isola Bella. We stopped at Isola Bella for our lunch and had some times to feel the live of Isola Bella. In Italian, Isola means island and Bella means beautiful.

We are recommended to try the grill fish and pizza from our tour guide. Indeed it tasted great especially in such romantic environment.

Once done, we traveled to Zermatt, Switzerland. Time to say goodbye to Italy…

Upon arrival in Switzerland, our bus stopped by a café on the highway to taste the famous hot chocolate of Switzeland. The milk was rich and the taste was just nice. We had great picture from the café too!

Travelling for another hour, we finally reached Zermatt. We are required to take the train to Zermatt via the Matterhorn terminal.

The weather was colder and the temperature was around 4 degree Celsius as it was still raining when we reach the destination. However, the rain does not stop us from going out from our hotel to experience the beauty of the town. The little town was peaceful and great in scenery. The scenery was exactly like those places where Christmas movie was shot. The Christmas tree, the old town, the horse and the snow on the mountain!!

We had a great view from our hotel where we can see the real Christmas tree and the huts…
