~ 7 Sept, Sunny ~
This morning we travelled to the stately capital of Switzerland, Berne. Our Bern sightseeing is to see the unique Astronomical Clock Tower, Bear Pit, Federal Palace etc. We stopped by Lowen lake during the highway travel to Bern and the lake was surprisingly great and windy. We also had our lunch at Marche next to the lake!
Astronomical Clock Tower and Bear Pit. We only saw one bear;-(

If you noted that the currency for Switzerland is CH, it actually means Confoederations Helveticae as you can see from the picture we took in Berne..

During the walk on the street of Berne, we passed by the house of Einstein, and his picture is still there.

In the late afternoon, we proceed to Interlaken, where we had our Fondue dinner there. We were introduced 3 types of fondues, first was the cheese fondue, followed by the pork fondue and we ended with the chocolate fondue. We had fun throughout the dinner as the one of the waiter invited us to play their Alpine Horn of Switzerland. We also experienced how heavy of the cow bells!

We stayed two nights in Interlaken at Weisses Kreuz hotel. Even though no air-conditioned, it was perfectly cool weather throughout the night..
